A few months after the release of "Baptism", Joan Baez returns to the studio. But this time, no classic arrangements ! Peter Schickele is stored in the closet while Joan makes his way to Nashville. There, she locks herself in studios with a slew of musicians and embarks on a marathon recording session from which two albums will be released: "Any Day Now" and "David's Album". "Any Day Now" is an impeccable album, both in the choice of songs and in their interpretation.
